Sr. Business Analyst Digital Health

Role Overview

The Digital Health Sr. Business Analyst serves as the right‑hand to the Sr. Product Manager in an agile environment, combining domain, technical and product strategy skills. Responsibilities include gathering intelligence, translating user needs into user stories, maintaining the backlog, driving decision‑making, and supporting product demos.

• Collaborate with a Sr. Product Manager to shape end‑to‑end product strategy and determine business value.
• Gather intelligence on existing clinical processes and elicit requirements from relevant clinical stakeholders.
• Translate user needs into user stories and acceptance criteria, working closely with design and technical leads.
• Maintain a backlog 3 to 4 sprints ahead of the squad.
• Serve as the daily contact for requirement clarification and user story driving.
• Act as a proxy to Digital Health Product Management leadership for decision‑making.
• Support Digital Health Product Management leadership in backlog refinement, sprint planning, and alignment with product vision.
• Define, implement and track performance metrics after production launch.
• Prepare and support the team on product demos.
• Lead multiple missions and grow digital capabilities within Premier Health.
• Teach Agile methodologies across the organization.

• Defining business requirements and translating them for Agile teams.
• Tracking team‑level metrics for multiple missions.
• Content expertise in consumer journey, information gathering and problem solving.
• Identifying exception cases, consumer tests, user story definitions, and use‑case valuation.

Associate’s degree required; if no degree, relevant digital and/or analytics certifications are required.

• Minimum 3–5 years of job‑related experience as an Agile team member, Business Analyst, Team/Project/Product Lead, or Digital Healthcare Analyst.
• Understanding of clinical processes in the healthcare industry and user needs pain points.
• Experience in cost‑benefit analysis for feature prioritization.
• Experience autonomously driving initiatives and improvements with minimal supervision.
• Experience writing and collaborating on user stories in an agile setting.
• Experience facilitating agile ceremonies, managing backlog/release plans, and tracking metrics such as burndown charts.
