Responsibilities- Facilitate scrum events such as daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives.
- Support and educate product owners to ensure priorities align with product goals and that the product backlog is maintained.
- Mentor the team on Agile principles and practices.
- Promote an environment of continuous improvement.
- Facilitate clear and transparent communication between the team and stakeholders.
- Ensure team readiness to present at Technical Interchange Meetings (TIM).
- Collaborate with other scrum masters in Scrum of Scrums.
- Prepare the team for quarterly release planning events.
- May be required to perform activities at NASIC and adhere to security requirements for access to classified information.
- U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI Security Clearance.
- Bachelor's Degree.
- 5+ years of experience serving as a Scrum Master.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) with Scrum Alliance.
- Experience with Agile techniques:
User Stories, Continuous Integration/Continuous Testing, Team Agreements, Definition of Done, Definition of Ready, Acceptance Criteria. - Experience with JIRA and Confluence.
- Ability to adjust to requirements evolution.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Knowledge of the SDLC and its interrelationships with Agile development.
- Active TS/SCI.
- Advanced Certified Scrum Master (A‑CSM) certification from Scrum Alliance.
- Flexibility to support software testing activities, including: designing test plans and procedures; executing test procedures against the code baseline; preparing test reports; updating tracking software; working closely with users to verify requirements.
- Experience writing test utilities using languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, or C++.
- Experience with automated test tools such as Test Complete, Google Test, QF-Test.
