We are seeking an experienced Health Edge Guiding Care Consultant with strong expertise in Guiding Care applications and healthcare management systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with various Guiding Care modules, gathering and analyzing requirements, creating technical design documentation, performing unit testing, and supporting QA teams throughout the project lifecycle.

• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Health Edge Guiding Care Modules.
• Ability to analyze and understand business requirements and translate them into detailed design documents.
• Experience performing unit testing, particularly within the G&A (Grievance & Appeals) module.
• Experience working with Guiding Care modules such as:
  • Authorization Management
  • Utilization Management (UM)
  • Smart Comm
  • G&A Module

• Additional expertise across multiple Health Edge Guiding Care modules.
• Experience integrating and interfacing Guiding Care with other internal healthcare applications.
• Knowledge of healthcare payer workflows and care management processes.

• Analyze and understand business requirements related to Health Edge Guiding Care applications.
• Design and develop solutions across Guiding Care modules, including Authorization Management, UM, Smart Comm, and G&A.
• Create detailed functional and technical design documents based on business requirements.
• Perform unit testing and support system validation activities.
• Collaborate with QA teams to address questions, clarify requirements, and resolve defects.
• Work closely with business stakeholders, analysts, and development teams to ensure successful solution delivery.
• Support integration and interfacing efforts between Guiding Care and other enterprise applications.
• Participate in design reviews, testing activities, and implementation support.

• 8 10 years of overall IT experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Health Edge Guiding Care applications.
• Experience in healthcare payer or managed care environments.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and interact effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Experience supporting healthcare care management, utilization management, and authorization processes.
• Familiarity with healthcare data integrations and enterprise application interfaces.
• Experience supporting QA, UAT, and production deployments.
