We are Eagle Integrated Solutions, (EIS). We are a government contracting and consulting firm supporting several military installations and federal agencies across the nations. EIS is looking for a candidate to provide professional Medical Simulation Operator support to aid in the mission accomplishment of the School of Aerospace Medicine, 711 HPW.
What You'll Do- Provide technical expertise and support on operating a high-fidelity patient simulator system, assist in developing metrics to validate a simulation-based team‑training program.
- Will assist with the use of advanced learning technologies and methodologies to improve medical education and training for healthcare teams for the purpose of improving patient outcomes.
- This position will be working with the Air Force personnel to provide digital video recording support, maintenance of existing equipment, analysis of team training measures, design of simulation scenarios, technical expertise in running simulators within a constrained/controlled simulation environment.
- You will also provide support for digital video recording and simulators for other training platforms.
- Current and maintain a National Registered Paramedic (NRP) certification.
- Paramedic equivalent medical knowledge (with RN level preferred) as the Simulation operator in order to be able to manipulate physiological data and interpret participants response to simulated scenarios.
- Current Basic Life Support-Health Care Provider (BLS-HCP) certification
- Five years of clinical experience in military or civilian setting
- At least 2 years’ experience with programming of human patient simulators using primarily Laerdal, Gaumard & CAE simulator operating systems.
- Prior experience in course development and education methodology.
- Knowledge of military trauma clinical skills, procedures, processes to include: AFMS Clinical Practice Guidelines (CPGs), understanding of applicable Air Force and professional standards. Knowledge of military and civilian guidelines, policy & procedure through successful completion of USAFSAM’s and Department’s orientation programs is required.
- Ability to lift < 50 pounds and move human patient simulation equipment to and from training areas, work in low-light, high-volume environments, and differing weather conditions simulating actual aeromedical evacuation missions.
- One year of military medical/military deployment experience.
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS), Audio/visual solutions, moulage creation & application, hyper‑realistic simulators, and task‑trainers.
