Senior ERP Business Analyst - Finance

The University of Dayton is hiring a Senior ERP Business Analyst – Finance to act as the primary liaison between Finance stakeholders and IT for planning, implementing, and supporting enterprise business systems. This role involves leading business analysis efforts, managing ERP implementations, and partnering with Finance leadership to align technology with institutional goals.

• Lead business analysis by conducting workshops, eliciting requirements, and facilitating consensus among Finance stakeholders.
• Participate in ERP implementation projects, supporting configuration validation and user acceptance testing.
• Support Finance operations including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Budgeting, Procurement, and Financial Reporting.
• Use business process modeling (e.g., BPMN) and create business analysis artifacts like requirements traceability matrices and gap analyses.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders to prioritize standard ERP functionality over customization.
• Require bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, MIS, Finance, Accounting, or related field and at least 5 years of business analysis experience.
• Minimum 3 years supporting ERP implementations and experience with Finance operations.
• Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree, Workday Financial Management experience, higher education background, and relevant certifications (CBAP, PMI-PBA, PMP).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
