As a Cloud Architect, you will leverage your expertise in cloud computing to design, implement, and oversee innovative cloud solutions that align with business objectives. Working under general direction, you will independently develop strategies and technical solutions to complex challenges, contributing to cloud adoption plans, application design, and system management. Your role will involve leading the development and deployment of cloud infrastructure, ensuring compliance with security standards, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize cloud-based systems.
This position offers the opportunity to drive impactful change while providing technical leadership in a rapidly evolving domain.
The proposed salary range for this position is $110,095-$153,603. There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications. - Develop and oversee the organization’s cloud computing strategy, including cloud adoption plans, application architecture, and management
- Lead cloud implementation projects and system deployment on IaaS and PaaS
- Work with Cloud Service Providers (e.g. Cloud One, DAF Cloud Works, and SEITaas) to design system architecture
- Onboard new customers and system tenants with client-first service
- Generate and translate high-level system requirements into detailed implementation specifications
