The Strategic Technology Analysis Group, part of SPA’s Space and Intelligence Division, offers sophisticated capabilities (people, process & tools) to resolve unique problems in space, cyber, and special operations in support to military services, Secretary of Defense offices (OSD) and theater warfighters. SPA has a near-term need for a MBSE & SysML Analyst.

The MBSE andSysMLAnalyst will support NASIC's transition toward model-based systems engineering (MBSE) and dynamic, model-centric intelligence capabilities. This position will develop, analyze, and maintain

SysML-based system models and architectures, evaluate system performance and technical feasibility, and provide systems engineering recommendations that support modernization of intelligence products and workflows. The analyst will collaborate with systems engineers, modelers, mission analysts, architects, and other stakeholders to translate mission and technical requirements into traceable model-based representations and ensure models effectively support engineering analysis, integration, and decision-making.

Required Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship and a TS/SCI security clearance at time of application
• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline
• 10+ years of experience applying Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodologies to complex systems or mission environments
• Hands‑on experience developing and analyzing
  
  SysMLmodels and system architecture
• Experience with MBSE/SysMLmodeling tools such as Cameo Systems Modeler/Magic Draw, IBM Rhapsody, Enterprise Architect, or comparable platforms
• Experience translating mission needs, system requirements, interfaces, behaviors, and relationships into model-based representations
• Understanding of systems engineering principles, including requirements analysis, architecture development, interface analysis, traceability, verification, and validation
