MIAMI VALLEY HOSPITALLOGISTICS SUPPLY SPECIALIST / DISTRIBUTION
Schedule:
6:00 AM - 2:30 PM every weekend (Saturday & Sunday). Must be willing to work every weekend.
Employment:
Part‑time / 32 hours per pay period.
The Logistic Supply Specialist is a cross‑trained specialist able to perform multiple logistics and supply chain functions. Working knowledge of Material Management functions such as shipping & receiving, inventory and replenishment. Materials Management is a key support department responsible for the management, control & movement of supplies across the organization. The role provides exceptional customer service to all internal and external customers, collaborates with cross‑functional teams including co‑workers, clinical staff, supervisors and the management team, and prioritizes responsibilities to ensure completion of duties within scheduled hours.
The Logistic Supply Specialist accurately manages supplies from receipt to distribution, using Microsoft Office Suite, supply chain inventory software and mobile devices. This role complies with Patient Experience and Performance Behavior Standards, the Facility Disaster Plan, Safety, Infection Control, Blood & Tissue Handling, Haz Mat policies, and safely operates material handling equipment while adhering to Premier Health and Material Management policies and HIPAA requirements.

Preferred experience:
Material Management experience, preferably in Healthcare
- Proficient in mathematics, reading and writing skills
- Computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Basic knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software systems
- Basic knowledge of material handling, warehouse and inventory skills
