Maintenance Technician

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Under minimal supervision, installs, repairs, and maintains the following machine manuals, prints, or by referral to building codes:

* Physical structures.

* Electrical wiring.

* Plumbing and fixtures.

* HVAC

* Includes motor and engine, CNC, electrical, pneumatic, and PLC. Fanuc, Mitsubishi, and Haas controls preferred.

* Assists higher-level maintenance.

* Assure all policies and procedures are followed and safety precautions are taken to reduce the risk of injury.

* Responsible for facility and ground maintenance.

* Expected to be on call.

* Occasional travel may be necessary.

* Occasional use of personal vehicle may be needed for pickup/delivery of machine parts.

* Other maintenance and facilities duties as assigned.

* Once an employee demonstrates competency in a position, he/she may be required to train others in similar roles.

X system experience a plus

* The ideal candidate will be a proficient problem solver independently or with a team.

Work Environment:

* Work performed in a Plant environment.

* Exposure to odor, noise, dust, heat, cold, chemicals, and other elements.

* The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate

Education and Experience:

* Minimum High School or GED. Trade school or professional training preferred.

* 3 - 6 years of experience
