We also have an online presence that serves thousands of people who aren’t located near one of our physical sites. Job Summary The Building Operations Team Member is responsible for the maintenance of Crossroads’ sites, handling building and equipment emergencies on an ongoing basis and delivering a well-maintained facility to be used by Crossroads and outside parties.

• Perform maintenance and repair activities for building and equipment.
• Perform skilled preventive maintenance in carpentry, electrical, plumbing and painting.
• Conduct regular building inspections and prepare the necessary work order requests.
• Respond to inquiries and requests by building tenants and resolve problems in a timely manner.
• Monitor building schedule and provide needed support for non-staff tenants hosting events on Crossroads property.
• Guide cleaning contractors and ensure their services meet Crossroads cleaning standards.
• Recruit, develop, and lead volunteer teams.
• Manage and maintain all event support properties (e.g., folding chairs, tables).
• Protect all entities’ value by keeping information confidential.
• Work closely with the staff to build and maintain a strong team environment and support the vision and mission.
• Attend regular ministry team meetings, all-staff meetings, and participate in additional meetings as requested.
• Perform other duties as requested by manager and leadership.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• General residential/commercial maintenance knowledge is essential.
• At least 3 years of experience performing general maintenance or in a similar role is preferred.
• Excellent project management skills are required.
• Able to work with minimal supervision while coordinating with other staff and organizations.
• Strong organizational, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to lead volunteers and volunteer teams in the execution of projects is essential.

• Physical demands include lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling. Typical breakdown: 20% sitting, 30% walking, 50% standing. Travel between properties will be required.
