Our client, headquartered in Ohio, is one of the leading convenience store operators, developers and fuel distributors in the region. They are seeking an experienced and successful District Manager to lead a region of convenience stores within Greater Dayton, Toledo, and surrounding areas.

Job Purpose
:
The Operations Leader is responsible for driving top-line sales and bottom-line profit within each of their stores; achieving all company objectives and leading and inspiring a high-performance team. The Operations Leader will provide strategic leadership and support for a District Manager and Training Manager, lead multiple sites, and manage resources efficiently to drive business and maximize productivity, meeting all standards of execution for customer service, signage and pricing, and merchandising.
- Lead, develop, and enhance the customer experience in our stores by fostering and maintaining a friendly positive attitude and foster excellent corporate culture within assigned region.
- Ensure all the stores in your district deliver a positive and friendly experience to our customers.
- Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and serviceability in all the stores you lead.
- Demonstrate leadership, foster teamwork, show initiative and excitement for all store promotions and merchandising standards to facilitate sales growth in your stores. Set the example for your store teams.
- Enhance and maintain good positive communication with customers, the Operations Manager, General Managers, your team of employees and vendors to enhance the overall performance and profitability of your store’s teams and to continue to grow our customer base and foster our current relationships with customers and vendors.
- Previous experience in leading multiple convenience stores, small box or medium box retail locations is strongly preferred.
- Flexible hours including evenings and weekends required.
- Knowledge of financial management and computer literacy in computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel. Ability to multi-task and have a good sense of time management.
- Maintain a disciplined approach to managing, training and developing your store teams.
- Uphold company standards in personal appearance, store cleanliness and customer service.
- INIR Experience with PDI (MANDATORY)
