Specialized professional level in the job and family services occupation under administrative direction of FAD Social Program Manager, requiring considerable knowledge of job and family services - public assistance and medical programs in order to act as lead professional responsible for effective management of the daily operational facets of the Family Assistance Division projects i.e. Ohio Benefits Worker Portal (OBWP), develops, coordinates and ensures implementation of Family Assistance Division policies and procedures, plans, and procedures to improve program results, team performance, department, operations and customer service, supervises others delivering services to customers.
AdministrativeResponsibilities
- Serve as liaison between Family Assistance Division (FAD) and ODJFS, ODM, DCY; distribute key messages, policies, system updates, training, and meeting information.
- Represent FAD in meetings with state agencies, internal departments, and community partners; provide program information, updates, policies, and process information.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations; implement programmatic changes within agency guidelines.
- Maintain accurate project management, documentation, and provide regular status reports.
- Performs administrative supervisory tasks, supervises 1-2 supervisors and staff.
- Ensure operational updates and program changes are integrated into staff training programs and department processes. May conduct training.
- Assist in developing FAD policies and procedures in collaboration with managers and senior leaders.
- Participate in and oversee work groups to improve program outcomes, procedures, and training content.
- Serve as informational and technical advisor to FAD on program operations, systems, and service delivery.
- Supports FAD leadership team in monitoring and evaluating programs outcomes.
- Direct implementation of service delivery strategies, workflow processes, projects, and initiatives.
- Plan, coordinate, and lead FAD projects and initiatives to achieve goals within prescribed timelines.
- Monitor and recommend process improvements to meet program and department objectives.
- Evaluate projects and initiatives for effectiveness and impact.
- Collaborate with agency partners, state and federal partners, and community organizations to coordinate services and changes.

Bachelor's Degree in business, criminal justice, job and family services, social work, sociology, political science, psychology or related discipline and 3 years of related experience or experience directing the work of others, supervisor training and/or leading projects; OR Master's Degree in business, criminal justice, job and family services, social work, sociology, political science, psychology or related discipline and 2 years of experience supervising others in a similar field;
OR alternative, equivalent evidence of the Minimum Class Requirement.
