About Us

Curate Group is a diverse collective of experience-led businesses, rooted in pioneering hospitality and known for delivering industry-applauded events for some of the world’s most exciting brands.

Lumos Experiences

Lumos produces immersive live music events staged by candlelight in extraordinary spaces. Blending classical and contemporary performances with carefully curated venues, Lumos transforms familiar music into intimate, atmospheric experiences, inviting audiences to slow down, connect and experience music and the arts in a new way.

As Lumos continues to expand internationally, we are investing in senior regional leadership to scale our operations, protect our brand and deliver consistently exceptional experiences across new markets.

About the Role

The Head of Regional Event Operations owns the day-to-day performance of their assigned hub, overseeing bookings, marketing, operations, finance, sales and customer experience to ensure every show is profitable, well‑run and continuously improving. The role is focused on scaling and growing the region.

You are the senior local decision-maker, accountable for performance, team alignment and execution and responsible for planning, people management and performance tracking to consistently deliver Lumos standards.

Working closely with HQ’s support, you will implement regional strategy and lead teams on the ground to deliver a seamless, five‑star experience at every Lumos show. The role starts hands‑on and quickly evolves into leading a growing regional team as the market scales, while retaining end‑to‑end ownership of regional operations.

Weekend availability is essential as we start, as you will attend and oversee key events to uphold Lumos’ operational and brand standards.

Key Responsibilities Include
  • Establish and grow the Lumos event business across Ohio.
  • Act as the senior decision‑maker, resolving issues quickly and confidently.
  • Set and deliver regional business plans aligned to company growth targets.
  • Analyse ticket sales, pricing, customer data and event performance to inform strategy and decision making with support from HQ.
  • Source, book and contract venues; acting as the primary liaison between venue partners, suppliers and our brands. These responsibilities would then be given to a ‘Venue Partnerships’ hire within the first ~3 months of performance.
  • Lead the planning and execution of events, overseeing creative, operations and on‑site teams.
  • Recruit and build a reliable event team, manage staff scheduling, run regular training sessions and process staff payroll.
  • Develop and implement systems and processes to streamline event operations.
  • Oversee inventory, stock ordering and logistics to ensure smooth processes week after week.
  • Manage the events inbox, handling customer enquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Manage production teams, ensuring technical and operational elements run seamlessly.
  • Maintain strict budget control while ensuring high quality delivery.
  • Deliver daily and post‑event reports, analysing KPIs and feedback to drive continuous improvement across the business.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and conduct competitor analysis to support strategic decisions.
  • Propose innovative ideas and creative event solutions to elevate the event experience.
  • Build collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
What We’re Looking For
  • +3 experience in events management, production or general management. Ideally within the live entertainment or hospitality sectors.
  • A commercial mindset, looking at opportunities to drive growth.
  • A full driving licence and willingness to travel to the events to initially get them set up.
  • Someone dependable and proactive, capable of independently establishing and leading our operations while collaborating remotely with our U.K based team.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills with the ability to multitask under pressure.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Budget management experience.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite and team collaboration tools.
  • A courageous attitude when it comes to sharing new ideas, ways of working and creative thinking with outputs.
Benefits
  • A competitive salary with flexibility based on your experience and skills
  • Access to our annual bonus scheme (performance based)
  • 10 days annual leave, excluding national holidays. Plus extra time off at Christmas
  • Birthday off
  • 401k
  • Health insurance
  • Family leave policy
  • A flexible hybrid‑working policy
  • Covered travel expenses to shows
  • Huge opportunities for personal growth and career progression
