** Crossroads Church is a growing multi-site, interdenominational church. Our sites are currently located in Ohio and Kentucky, with plans to expand to additional cities. We also have an online presence that serves thousands of people who aren’t located near one of our physical sites.

Our desire is to model our staff and church community after the church in Revelation, where people of all nations, tribes, and tongues are worshiping and working together. We’re not there yet, but it’s what we’re working toward with every hire and every person who walks through our doors.
** Job Summary
** The Connections Director is responsible for leading the team of volunteers who create warm and welcoming environments where seekers can connect with our community. By building a bridge from the weekend experience into community, the Connections Director seeks to move people into spaces where they can be known and grow.
** Principal Duties and Responsibilities
*** Develop and nurture your leaders and encourage volunteers that foster growth for the leaders and their teams.
* Lead the teams you have responsibility (Auditorium, Welcome, Connect, Parking, Coffee, Volunteer 101 teams), will major in reproduction and be the most loved, deeply cared for, highly capable and functioning of any ministry.
* Continuously build the teams of Connections by inviting and welcoming new members to the team and casting vision for how serving helps in growing attendees into connected and growing Christ Followers.
* Develop and refine the system for training and executing the expertise areas at this and all sites to ensure that all guests have a great experience. This includes best practices and brand standards and benchmarking when needed.
* Continually look for opportunities to interact and grow our relationship in the neighborhood and with local partners. Champions spirit of connection with staff, volunteers and vendors.
* Refine and deliver Connections elements at site location. Continue to anticipate and explore ongoing improvement opportunities.  Partner with other ministries to implement changes.
* Ensure and train all ministry teams at the site following the connect guidelines. As well ensuring each site event has connections, volunteers or connections offering (QR code, vertical tvs, connect cards, etc) as a way for people to get plugged into our church.
** Education Requirements
*** Bachelors degree required or equivalent experience.
** Experience/Skills Requirements
*** Cast vision to volunteers so they understand how performing the task fits into the bigger Crossroads vision.
* Develop authentic ongoing relationships with leaders and volunteers of ministry teams and their administrative teams.
* Work collaboratively with all ministries and site team.
* Excellent oral and written communications skills.
* Ability to manage a large budget.
* Self-motivated and able to manage multiple tasks.
* Organized, disciplined with priorities, meticulous attention to details
* Takes initiative to understand departmental objectives, adapts to a changing and fluid environment, and proactively solves problems.
* Willing to take direction, humble and positive, mature judgment and winsome personality.
* Disciplined with priorities.
* Willing to fully integrate into the Crossroads community at large.
