Miami Valley Community Action Partnership is looking for a Weatherization and Housing Services Director to lead our Weatherization Program, Emergency Home Repair Program, and related housing and energy initiatives.
This role is perfect for a hands‑on leader who enjoys balancing big‑picture strategy with real‑world results—ensuring homes are safer, healthier, and more energy efficient for the communities we serve.
What You'll Do- Lead and oversee Weatherization, Emergency Home Repair, and related housing and energy programs
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local requirements, including Ohio Department of Development and Ohio Department of Job and Family Services
- Make sure all work meets DOE Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP) standards, Standard Work Specifications (SWS), State Weatherization Field Guide, and BPI requirements
- Guide energy audits, diagnostic testing, installation practices, and quality control inspections
- Supervise, mentor, and support staff while keeping programs on track and performing strong
- Manage budgets, contracts, reporting, and monitoring with confidence
- Experience leading housing, energy, or weatherization programs
- Strong knowledge of DOE WAP requirements, SWS, and BPI standards
- Proven ability to manage compliance, audits, and performance goals
