Program / Project Manager, Operations Manager
The Client Placement Manager is a high-impact leadership role at 4 Paws for Ability responsible for the strategic oversight and operational excellence of the department. The Client Placement team is responsible for the final stages of training service dogs and matching them with appropriate clients. Reporting to the Associate Director, this individual manages a team through empathetic accountability and professional development to ensure that service dog training milestones and client services are aligned.
Key responsibilities include:
Strategic Leadership: Providing visionary direction and fostering a culture of psychological safety and high performance.
Operational Oversight: Ensuring smooth workflows, facilitating alignment to break down departmental silos, and managing the "Placement Readiness Process".
Data & Quality Management: Monitoring training progress, maintaining accurate Salesforce records, and analyzing key metrics to identify trends or compliance gaps.
Team & Volunteer Support: Coordinating with trainers and leadership while ensuring clear, timely communication across the entire team and volunteer base.
This full-time, exempt position requires a Bachelor’s degree and 5–7 years of leadership experience. Candidates must also be physically capable of handling active dogs weighing up to 80 pounds in emergency situations. Experience training dogs is a plus but not required for the role.
