Summary

The Continuous Improvement & Process Coordinator will support the Dayton Distribution and Service Center by developing standard operating procedures, process maps, and risk mappings to drive operational efficiency and continuous improvement. The role partners with senior logistics leaders and external partners to support projects including opening a regional distribution center and optimizing existing New Jersey operations. The coordinator conducts time studies, identifies and mitigates risks, and implements process improvements across distribution activities with a focus on sustainability.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with distribution management on workflow improvements and perform time and process studies
  • Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and define process maps for all Dayton departments and activities
  • Develop risk mapping for teams, identify risks, and implement mitigation actions
  • Drive continuous improvement projects across the supply chain, including transportation network optimization and warehouse slotting
  • Support projects related to opening a regional distribution center and optimizing New Jersey in-house distribution center operations
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders and external partners (3PLs, consultants) and perform additional duties as assigned by senior logistics leaders
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years related experience in retail or luxury supply chain and distribution
  • Bachelor’s degree required; LEAN certification and Industrial Engineering degree preferred
  • Knowledge of distribution center best practices and strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to collaborate cross-functionally and work independently
  • Customer service mindset; ability to work under pressure, anticipate needs, and adapt
  • Preferred French and/or Spanish language skills
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Visio, SAP, Warehouse Management Systems (Manhattan), and Transportation Management Systems
