Overview
SCORE "Counselors of America’s Small Business Owners" is a national association dedicated to helping small business owners form and grow their businesses. The Dayton Chapter of SCORE also supports local nonprofit organizations through a series of six workshops on Fundraising, Planning, Board Development, Marketing, Financial Management, and Volunteer Management. Members also provide face to face client mentoring.
Small businesses in Ohio need your help to survive, grow and thrive. Join us at Dayton SCORE as a volunteer mentor or trainer to share your business knowledge with a very diverse group of motivated entrepreneurs. Our experienced mentors and trainers help small businesses and nonprofit organizations.
Responsibilities- Develop business strategies and plans, marketing and sales, and financial issues
- Executive and manager development and training
- Financial management and budgeting
- Improving sales and operations management
We provide volunteers with formal coaching training to help refine your skills and develop new ones. We also need experienced people to do training workshops, online counseling, promoting SCORE locally.
