Materials Manager

A well-established global automotive manufacturing organization is discreetly exploring interest in a Materials Manager to lead materials, logistics, and supply chain operations at one of its U.S.

-based manufacturing facilities located in the greater Dayton area.

• Ownership of end-to-end materials, logistics, and inventory performance

• Lead safe and compliant material handling, warehousing, and logistics operations
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives aligned with lean manufacturing principles
• Develop and coach a high-performing supply chain team
• Oversee inventory accuracy, physical inventory processes, and corrective action
• Oversee materials flow within ERP
• Ensure on-time delivery performance for customers and suppliers
• Lead material flow for engineering changes (ECN processes)
• Establish proactive escalation and communication processes
• Partner with plant leadership to achieve operational goals

• 5+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment (union experience preferred)
• Working knowledge of lean manufacturing tools
• Strong communication, analytical, and leadership skills
• Ability to lead in a fast-paced, high-demand environment
