USA Dayton, OH LORD. Parker Lord's Dayton facility manufactures passive vibration mounts for commercial and military aerospace applications. • Read, interpret and follow manufacturing documentation including prints and routers to ensure the production of conforming products
• Set up and operate manual and automated equipment for chemical processing, media blasting, cleaning, priming, adhesive application and other related preparation activities
• Performs cleaning of product as necessary
• Completes necessary paperwork and documentation to ensure quality conformance and the proper movement and control of product
• Ensures all equipment and materials used to perform job functions are compliant to procedures
• Proactively improves area processes, procedures and documentation through Kaizen activities and collaboration with area leadership and Engineering
• Responsible for the proper storage and disposition of hazardous waste
• Performs all required preventative maintenance activities
• Aid in preparation for and participates in all required area audits
• Adheres to all safety guidelines and procedures
• Other assignments as required

• Willingness to work 2nd shift
• Able to communicate effectively with management and co‑workers to promote strong working relationships and create an environment focused on teamwork
• Flexible with work and job assignments and willing to perform any function as needed
• Must be dependable and available to work overtime when required
• Understands and demonstrates comprehension of drawings, blueprints and Manufacturing Work Instructions
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Outlook
• Self‑motivated and able to work effectively and efficiently with limited supervision
• Ability to carry/lift up to 35 lbs. (50% of the time). Must have the ability to stand, kneel, squat, stoop, use fingers and hands to feel, lift or handle tools, parts and equipment.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent

• 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or similar work environment
• 2+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing preferred
