Quality Manager - Automotive Parts Manufacturer

Overview

An international automotive parts manufacturer in the Dayton, OH area is looking for Quality Manager to join their team. This position is direct hire and full-time.

• Manage, train, and monitor quality control and inspection associates
• Oversee receiving inspection and sorting processes
• Manage manpower and coordinate staffs and schedules
• Prepare budget and cost
• Ensure ISO
  9000 certification
• Communicate with suppliers for quality improvement plans
• Create reports and documents
• Other duties might be assigned

• 5-10 years of experience in quality/inspection of automotive parts
• 3-5 years of managerial experience in automotive and/or industrial manufacturing
• Good communication and collaboration skills in a multicultural environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and time management ability
• ISO
  9000 Internal Audit Certification
• Experience in stamping, arc and spot welding, assemble process
• Experience in automotive parts suppliers is a plus
• This position is in a manufacturing work environment. While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, lift in excess of 50 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear.
  
  You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
