Perform high-quality MIG and TIG welding on various gauges of sheet metal and heavy plate;
Interpret complex shop drawings and submittal forms to ensure every fitting is built to exact customer specifications;
Execute continuous "long-seam" welds and circumferential welds on spiral and oval ducting, ensuring a leak-proof finish;
Use clamps, fixtures, and custom jigs to align components perfectly before welding, maintaining tight dimensional tolerances;
Adjust machine settings and gas mixtures to account for the unique challenges of welding galvanized steel (avoiding porosity) and stainless steel (managing heat tint)
