Job Description Summary

Roles and Responsibilities- Manage overall production to reach defined targets in safety, quality, delivery and cost. Ensure continuous business improvement according to benchmarks and standards through FLIGHT DECK – GE Aerospace's proprietary lean operating model. Team management of salaried employees.
- Lead lean transformation efforts for the business unit to drive lead time reduction, connected flow and efficiency gains.
- Interpret internal and external business challenges and recommend best practices to improve products, processes or services. Utilize understanding of industry trends to inform decision‑making.
- Lead others to find creative solutions within complex manufacturing processes with technical variety and/or interdependent production cycles. Employ sophisticated operational/product management, manufacturing or engineering techniques. Interact with adjacent functions to solve issues. Evaluate quality of information received and question conflicting data for analysis. Use multiple internal and external resources outside own function to arrive at a decision.
- May lead functional teams or projects with moderate resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity. Present business or technical discipline solutions to leaders. Communicate complex messages and negotiate primarily internally to adopt a different point of view. Influence peers to take action and may negotiate with external partners, vendors, or customers.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university and a minimum of 4 years of manufacturing operations experience, or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 5 years in manufacturing operations experience.

- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
- Demonstrated ability to lead programs or projects.
