Minutemen Staffing is now hiring a skilled CNC Machinist for a local Dayton manufacturing facility.
Shift - Monday-Thursday 6am to 4:30pm
Pay - $23 - $26 an hr. based on experience
This is a temp to hire position
Job Duties:
- Perform all assigned machine shop operations
- Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to management or designee. (i.e., tool wear, surface finish, and foreign object debris)
- Complete and maintain paperwork for parts
- Perform all assigned machine shop operations
- Thorough knowledge of all types of tooling and materials
- Utilize micrometers & calibers
- Thorough knowledge of all types of tooling and materials
- Meet ongoing production quotas while working within very close tolerances
Job Requirements:
- Mechanical and technical capacity
- Time management skills
- Prior experience in manufacturing or assembly preferred
- Able to lift and carry heavy objects
- Basic understanding of aerospace manufacturing processes
