Full-Time, 1st Shift Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, some OT could be required.

Starting pay $19+ DOE.

Loads, unloads, and moves materials within or near plant, yard, or work site by performing the following duties with a degree of proficiency and/or independence.

• Demonstrated proficiency within shipping, receiving or distribution environment
• Reads work order or pick tickets or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be picked, moved, or processed.
• Loads materials into vehicles and installs banding and stretch wrapping to prevent shifting or damage in transit.
• Conveys materials from storage or work sites to designated area.
• Counts, weighs, and records number of units of materials moved or handled on daily production sheet.
• Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information or cases or containers.
• Packs and prepares cartons for shipping to customers.
• Ensures accuracy or order and security of packaging to avoid damage in shipment.
• Able to operate all power industrial vehicles (PIVs) including pallet jack, forklift, order picker, reach truck, among others on a regular basis or perform the entry level tasks in the crating department including the ability to use all the machinery and equipment in the crate shop and assemble crates.
• Able to meet quality and productivity deliverables.
• Adheres to all safety policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 3 years of related experience and/or training in the following: using hand tools, power saws, chop saw and measurement tools, operating PIVs (industrial vehicles) and in a shipping and receiving setting.
• Experience with receiving and returns preferred.
