Dayton, OH

Monday – Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Up to $23.32 per hour, based on experience.

• Follow the “Safety First” expectations, including PJHA process, Observation process, and compliance with all company/site safety guidelines and procedures.
• Use SAP for creation of shopping carts, SES, tracking POs, receiving goods, etc.
• Receive and inspect all incoming shipments from couriers, freight, and delivery services.
• Check and inspect shipments for damage and shortages before receiving.
• Match manufacturer part number with computer inventory system description (CMMS) and PO to ensure receipt of correct part.
• Record purchase order number, vendor’s name, items, and addressee on the receiver log daily for each package.
• Coordinate return shipments to vendor when a wrong part is received or there is a stock overage, and verify with supervisor prior to returning.
• Ensure all parts are placed in the correct storage location.
• If parts are ordered through a PO for a work order, create a “job kit” and ensure all parts from the PO go to the same kit and kit location.
• Parts returned from kitted work orders should be returned to stock or to vendor.
• Verify with supervisor parts removed from equipment are prepared for shipping as soon as possible; track on a spreadsheet.
• Pickup outgoing shipments as necessary.
• Operate forklifts, carts, hand trucks, and other material handling equipment.
• Perform job kitting and ensure that all parts are identified and kitted for the scheduled work.
• Contribute to team effort and other duties as assigned by appropriate supervision.
• Ensure compliance with all company/customer regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Meet performance expectations set forth as part of performance appraisals, including employee development planning.
• Communicate with all team members to assist the development of short‑ and long‑range planning in assist of the company’s goals and objectives.
• Perform accurate administrative duties, including time accounting, work order completion, job planning, ordering materials, workload assessment, and updating/reviewing CMMS.
• Maintain positive customer and employee relations.
• Work with Supervisor and Planner to ensure all jobs are kitted and ready for completion.
• Allocate resources as required, coordinate shutdowns, contact vendors for plant and maintenance requirements.

• Education:
  
  AA degree in Industrial Maintenance preferred but not required.
• Experience:
  
  Warehouse experience preferred but not required.
• SAP experience preferred but not required.

• Substantial lifting (up to 50 pounds).
• Ability to move for extended or continuous periods, ascend and descend staircases, ladders, and/or step stools.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment, including forklifts or other vehicles safely.
• Wear a respirator while performing job duties as required.
• Communicate information and ideas so others will understand.
