Production Supervisor - 1st Shift Dayton, OH

Your Contribution

• Manages a team of Production Associates and Team Leader(s).
• Organizes associates on shift to achieve output, quality and safety goals.
• Completes shift‑end reports and other documentation on time.
• Maintains a safe, clean work area and follows all established safety guidelines, ensuring conformance with OSHA.
• Ensures that the area and personnel adhere to QS 9000, TS 16949, and ISO 14001 standards.
• Initiates actions/escalations along the value stream regarding safety, quality (Q‑stop), equipment, materials and maintenance when problems arise and follows the escalation process accordingly.
• Ensures that the Team Leader orders all materials to prevent production interruptions for current and upcoming shifts, functioning as backup to the Team Leader and ordering materials when necessary.
• Maintains a clean and safe work environment (5S).
• Ensures all set‑ups and changeovers are performed efficiently and effectively.
• Supports training initiatives.
• Supports CIP efforts in the plant through coordination with plant staff.
• Meets shift build plans.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager.

• Technical Associate’s Degree required;
  Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of five years of industrial experience with at least three years of supervisory experience required.
• Familiarity with the Metric system and tight tolerances (0.01 mm).
• Knowledge of MAHLE Production Systems such as work instructions, preventive maintenance, and OEE preferred.
• Ability to multi‑task and work with little to no supervision.
• Personal computer skills in MS Office a plus.
• Previous experience in manufacturing processes favored.
