Role:
Quality/Production Technician (Quality Technician, Quality Control Technician, Quality Inspector). Starting pay: $25.41/hour.

We have one opening for Quality/Production Technician at our Dayton, OH facility—supporting a team that produces millions of beverage can ends per day. You'll keep equipment running safely, troubleshoot issues fast, and partner with Production to hit daily targets.
- Tending of automated or manual testing/production machines or equipment that perform functions in the making of beverage can lids.
- Maintains and observes operation of machines, gauges and equipment to ensure the production of high-quality ends.
- Inspects ends according to customer specifications.
- Interprets quality test results and if specifications are not met, informs Team Leader or Team Coordinator.
Job Requirements
- 3-5 years practical hands-on experience in an industrial setting
- Responsible for clearing jams and removing damaged ends
- Restacking pallets and inspection of finished ends
- Responsible for the housekeeping and cleaning such as painting and cleaning machines, picking up ends, emptying spoilage containers, mopping, emptying trash cans, etc.
- Responsible for the required paperwork of assigned area or machine(s), examples: logbook entries, or bills of lading, inventory sheets, warehouse tags, etc.
- Proficient with micrometers, calipers and indicators
- Good mathematical skills
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and standard operating procedures. Ability to write correspondence and effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other team members.
- Other duties as assigned by the team or management.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Must be willing to work 12-hour shifts and a rotating schedule
- High School or equivalent preferred but not required with the following; language skills, mathematical skills, and reasoning ability.
- Must pass pre-employment physical, drug test and background check.

- The team member frequently is required to climb or balance and talk or hear.
- The team member is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- The team member must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and / or move up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
