Position: Assembler (19 To 21 An Hour)

Clean Room Assembler / Production Operator

This role focuses on assembling small, precision components in a clean, climate-controlled environment using microscopes, tweezers, and laser equipment. You will perform detailed production and inspection work that requires strong hand-eye coordination, accuracy, and consistency, while following established procedures and safety protocols. The position offers structured training, multiple shift options, and the potential for long-term career growth.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble small, delicate components using tools such as tweezers and other fine-dexterity instruments.
  • Operate laser cutting machines, including loading parts, aligning components via computer interface, and initiating the cutting process.
  • Perform quality inspections using microscopes and magnifying equipment to ensure components meet precise specifications.
  • Use micrometers, calipers, and other measurement tools to verify dimensions and quality where required.
  • Follow standard operating procedures, work instructions, and safety protocols at all times.
  • Handle post-processing tasks such as cleaning, finishing, and preparing parts for the next production steps.
  • Perform final inspection and assist with packaging and shipping tasks as needed.
  • Work in a clean room environment when required, including suiting up in clean room attire and following contamination-control practices.
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy, consistency, and throughput in production activities.
  • Enter production and quality data into computer systems accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Adapt to day-to-day changes in priorities and tasks while maintaining productivity.
  • Demonstrate reliable attendance and punctuality to support consistent production schedules.
  • Participate in initial and ongoing training to learn new processes, equipment, and quality standards.

Essential Skills

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to perform precision work on small components.
  • Comfort working with small parts and tools such as tweezers, microscopes, and magnifying equipment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment while maintaining accuracy and quality.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a role requiring attention to detail and/or quality control, including use of microscopes, micrometers, calipers, or detailed visual inspection.
  • At least 1 year of experience in small parts assembly or a position requiring fine dexterity skills.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a role requiring data entry and computer skills.
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts, including potential weekend or off-shift schedules.
  • Good attendance, reliability, and commitment to following procedures and safety guidelines.
  • Ability to work both sitting and standing for extended periods as required by the production process.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience working in a medical-related position (1+ year) is a plus.
  • Experience with ERP systems (1+ year) is a plus.
  • Experience with Epicor ERP software (1+ year) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with quality assurance and quality control processes.
  • Comfort using measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers.
  • Experience entering and tracking data in systems such as ERP or similar platforms.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and tasks in a dynamic production environment.
  • Strong teamwork, communication skills, and a collaborative mindset.
