Machine Operation:
Set up and operate high-powered CNC laser cutting systems (Fiber or CO2) for a variety of metal gauges.;
Material Handling:
Load and unload large-format metal sheets using forklifts or overhead cranes, ensuring safe and efficient material flow.;
Quality Verification:
Perform first-part inspections using calipers, micrometers, and tape measures to ensure dimensions match technical drawings.;
Part Processing:
De-tab, sort, and organize cut parts by job number to keep downstream fabrication departments running smoothly.;
Preventative Maintenance:
Conduct daily machine checks including nozzle cleaning, lens inspection, and assist with assist-gas cylinder swap-outs.
