Essential Job Functions- Read, interpret, and follow manufacturing documentation including prints and routers to ensure the production of conforming products
- Set up and operate manual and automated equipment for chemical processing, media blasting, cleaning, priming, adhesive application and related preparation activities
- Perform cleaning of product as necessary
- Complete necessary paperwork and documentation to ensure quality conformance and proper movement and control of product
- Ensure all equipment and materials used comply with procedures
- Proactively improve area processes, procedures and documentation through Kaizen activities and collaboration with area leadership and Engineering
- Be responsible for the proper storage and disposition of hazardous waste
- Perform all required preventative maintenance activities
- Aid in preparation for and participate in all required area audits
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures
- Other assignments as required
- Willingness to work 2nd shift
- Ability to communicate effectively with management and co‑workers to promote strong working relationships and a teamwork‑focused environment
- Flexible with work and job assignments and willing to perform any function as needed
- Dependable and available to work overtime when required
- Understands and demonstrates comprehension of drawings, blueprints and Manufacturing Work Instructions
- Proficient with Microsoft Office including Outlook
- Self‑motivated and able to work effectively with limited supervision
- Ability to carry/lift up to 35 lbs for 50% of the time. Must be able to stand, kneel, squat, stoop, use fingers and hands to feel, lift or handle tools, parts and equipment
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or similar work environment
- 2+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing preferred
