General Labor/Production Associate
Full‑time permanent position located in West Carrollton, Ohio (United States). Entry‑level production positions with rotating 8‑hour Southern swing shift schedule (3rd, 2nd, and 1st shift). Candidates must be available for overtime and most weekends/holidays.
Responsibilities include:
- Work swing shifts, including all shifts with most weekends and holidays.
- Operate equipment and follow written or electronic standard operating procedures and instructions.
- Adhere to all safety policies and requirements while working and operating equipment.
- Operate necessary equipment, which may include mobile equipment, overhead cranes, winding and slitting equipment, coating processing & application equipment, and packaging equipment.
- Work well both as an individual and as part of a team.
- Maintain mechanical, numerical, and verbal aptitude to learn quickly.
Qualifications:
- Previous manufacturing, forklift experience, and prior shift work experience preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum age 18 years.
- Must be able to work 8, 10, or 12‑hour shifts including weekends and holidays.
- Basic math, reading comprehension, writing, mechanical aptitude, and computer skills.
- Must have forklift experience.
Compensation and benefits:
- Starting hourly rate $20.00 /hour with eligibility for shift differential.
- After 90 days, pay rate goes to $25.37 /hour or $26.34 /hour depending upon job qualified for.
- Holiday hours worked are paid at double time; shift differential paid on 2nd and 3rd shifts.
- Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, prescription, life insurance, paid holidays, 401(k) and retirement saving plans.
- One week vacation after 6 months; 2 weeks after 1 year.
