We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead day‑to‑day manufacturing activities on night shift within a regulated, high‑volume production environment.
Core Responsibilities- Lead and coordinate all manufacturing activities on the assigned shift
- Ensure strict adherence to site safety programs and regulatory requirements; promote a strong culture of compliance and accountability
- Execute production plans to meet schedule commitments and optimize utilization of labor and equipment
- Monitor production performance and promptly communicate and address schedule deviations or operational disruptions
- Ensure manufacturing activities are performed in accordance with established procedures and approved documentation
- Investigate production discrepancies and partner with Quality to document issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and controlled startup following cleaning or maintenance activities
- Author and revise operating procedures and production records to accurately reflect current manufacturing practices
- Review quality data and adjust operating conditions within approved parameters to ensure consistent outcomes
- Train and qualify operators on standard procedures; evaluate performance through coaching, proficiency checks, and formal reviews
- Communicate expectations, issues, and performance through shift handoffs, team meetings, and one‑on‑one discussions
- Manage staffing levels, attendance, and scheduling to support production requirements
- One of the following combinations:
- Associate’s degree with 4+ years of manufacturing experience
- Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of manufacturing experience
- 7+ years of progressive manufacturing experience without a degree
- Prior experience in a regulated manufacturing environment
- Proven ability to supervise and develop hourly production teams
- Comfortable providing clear instructions, feedback, and operational reporting
- Proficient with basic computer applications (word processing, spreadsheets, production or inventory systems)
- Strong organizational, planning, and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to work flexible schedules or shifts as operational needs require
- Basic mathematical aptitude for production and data review
- Regular presence within production and operations areas
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform hands‑on activities throughout the shift
- Ability to lift and move up to 30 pounds
- Visual capability to perform detailed work, monitor equipment, and review documentation
