Assembler 1st or 2nd shift $19 to $21 an hour Job Description
As a Cleanroom Assembler, you will be tasked with achieving daily product and build quantity goals. You will work at a bench station where all necessary parts and tools are pre-arranged, and you will use a computer to access prints and drawings for guidance. The role involves both mechanical and electrical assembly, with mechanical tasks including the use of screws, bolts, framing, and housings, while electrical tasks involve laying wires and making connections.
Quality inspection instruments will be used to ensure build tolerances are met.
- Achieve daily product and build quantity goals.
- Perform mechanical and electrical assembly at a bench station.
- Use a computer to access and follow prints and drawings.
- Perform mechanical assembly using screws, bolts, framing, and housings.
- Conduct electrical assembly by laying wires and connections.
- Utilize quality inspection instruments to check build tolerances.
- 3-5 years of technical assembly experience in full electromechanical builds.
- 3-5 years of experience reading assembly drawings and prints.
- 3-5 years of experience with hand and power tools, including impact drivers, manual and electric screwdrivers, and T-Handle Allen wrenches (ball head and flat head).
- 3-5 years of experience reading metric and standard tape measures.
- 3-5 years of experience using calipers and micrometers.
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with height gauges, thread gauges, or similar quality instruments.
- Experience with .03 micron tolerance.
- Background in cleanroom environments.

Work EnvironmentYou will be working in a clean room environment, building complex electro-mechanical assemblies for military robotics, medical microchips, and custom machined components. The position is on the 2nd shift from 2:30 PM to 1:00 AM, Monday through Thursday, with optional overtime. The facility is climate-controlled, with a team size of 14-16, and a dress code requiring closed-toe shoes, jeans, and T-shirts.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dayton, OH.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.85 - $21.85/hr.
