Base pay $19.00 - $20.00 per hour

Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

- The Machine Operator is responsible for setting up and operating heavy machinery and related gauges to perform various cutting, punching, forming, blocking, and processing operations.
- They must have thorough knowledge of production techniques and the ability to produce quality-building parts.
- Understands and follows safety rules and precautions necessary for working in and around a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to set-up and operate machinery and equipment to cut, punch, form, or paint quality finished or semi finished parts.
- Ability to operate computerized equipment and material handling equipment.
- Performs routine preventive maintenance, adjustments, and lubrication on equipment and production tools as required to maintain proper operation.
- Marks part numbers, order numbers, and the number of pieces on parts.
- Attaches identification tags as required for customer to have the ability locate correct parts.
- Interprets blueprints, specifications, and other technical data to select the correct raw material or semi finished parts.
- Maintains continuous improvement practices in work area.
- May be assigned other projects and duties as designated by Team Leader.
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Some knowledge of a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist.

- Moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, and non-climate-controlled environment. - Noise tolerance
