Sanitation and Groundskeeping Technicians Needed!! 1st Shift 4-10hr Shifts, OT Available!!
We are seeking a dedicated Technician to join our team. This is an entry-level position with a focus on industrial cleaning. The schedule for this role is Sunday through Wednesday from 6 am to 4:30 pm, including a 30-minute lunch break. The position involves an on-call rotation.
Responsibilities- Clean and sanitize equipment, utensils, and machinery used in production areas according to established protocols.
- Use appropriate cleaning agents, equipment, and techniques according to health and safety standards.
- Adhere to and promote all safety policies within the work area, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Ensure proper handling and disposal of waste materials.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to determine areas that require sanitation attention.
- Record and maintain accurate sanitation logs and checklists.
- Collaborate with the quality control team to prevent cross-contamination.
- Participate in regular training sessions on safety, quality assurance, and new sanitation procedures.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and proper storage and usage methods.
- Familiarity with standard cleaning equipment such as scrubbers, pressure washers, and foamers.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Physical stamina and ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work in various environmental conditions.
- Ability to read and understand safety data sheets (SDS) and equipment manuals.
Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience in an industrial or food production sanitation role preferred but not mandatory.
- General labor skills, including lifting and working outside.
- Ability to work at heights and complete very physical labor.
- Industrial janitorial experience.

Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
