Manufacturing ​/ Production Operator, Chemical Manufacturing

• Measure and weigh chemical ingredients, according to procedure.
• Read and understand batch procedures and work instructions including related MSDSs (material safety data sheets).
• Record operational data, such as weights, ingredients used, processing times, or test results.
• Draw samples of products for the Analytical Department.
• Notify internal resources as directed to troubleshoot technical issues with equipment.
• Operate equipment for chemical purification or reaction during product processing.
• Adjust controls to regulate temperature, pressure, and flow as directed by supervision.
• Collect product samples for QC analysis at designated stages to assess chemical properties.
• Retrieve analytical results via SharePoint and SAP.

• A High School Diploma or GED is required;
• Up to Five years’ of experience in a chemical manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.
• Self-starter with an attention to detail required.
• Organizational skills, teamwork skills, and the ability to multi-task are required.
• Knowledge of equipment such as pumps, ovens, stirrers, dryers and tools, including their uses, repair, and maintenance is required.

Demonstrates expertise in chemical manufacturing processes, including the operation and maintenance of equipment such as pumps and ovens. Proficient in recording operational data and conducting quality control analysis to ensure product integrity.
