Material Handler

FC Industries Inc. in Dayton, OH is hiring a 1st Shift Material Handler to support our metalworking and manufacturing operations. In this role, you will move raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment. You will load/unload trucks, stage materials for machining, fabrication, and assembly, and maintain accurate inventory and paperwork. This position requires strong attention to safety, organization, and communication while working closely with production teams in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment focused on quality and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Safely move raw materials, WIP, and finished goods throughout the facility
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment
• Load and unload trucks and verify shipments against documentation
• Stage materials for machining, fabrication, stamping, and assembly operations
• Maintain accurate inventory counts, labels, and related paperwork
• Follow all safety procedures, housekeeping standards, and PPE requirements
• Communicate with production, shipping, and receiving to meet schedules
• Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits as needed
• Identify and report damaged materials or quality issues
