Our client is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead manufacturing operations, drive continuous improvement, and develop high-performing teams. This hands-on leadership role partners with Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, Production Control, and Sales to improve safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and operational performance while supporting company growth.
Key Responsibilities- Lead daily manufacturing operations and production teams.
- Drive Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
- Coach supervisors, develop future leaders, and build a culture of accountability.
- Improve manufacturing flow, capacity, labor utilization, and key performance metrics.
- Lead root cause analysis, corrective actions, and initiatives to reduce scrap and improve first-pass yield.
- Support workforce development, cross-training, and succession planning.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or related field preferred.
- 7–10+ years of manufacturing leadership experience.
- Strong background in Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, KPI development, and ERP systems.
- Proven leadership, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in electronics, aerospace, defense, military, or other high-reliability manufacturing environments is preferred.
