Machine Operator

Location:
Dayton, OH Pay Rate: $18.50 per hour
Schedule:
Sunday-Thursday | 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Overtime as needed)

Education Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Technical training or manufacturing education is beneficial.
Experience Requirements
- Previous machine operator experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and tape measures is a plus.
- Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Reliable attendance and dependable work history.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Job Duties
- Set up and operate production machinery.
- Monitor equipment to maintain quality and production goals.
- Make machine adjustments as needed.
- Inspect finished products for quality standards.
- Troubleshoot minor equipment issues.
- Complete production records and documentation.
- Perform basic equipment maintenance and cleaning.
- Follow safety procedures and lockout/tagout requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous machine operation, manufacturing, production, or industrial experience is preferred.
- Experience performing machine setup, tooling changes, troubleshooting, or preventative maintenance is beneficial.
- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, quality systems, or continuous improvement practices is considered an asset.
- Individuals who demonstrate mechanical ability, reliability, teamwork, and a commitment to quality are well positioned for success as a Machine Operator.
Physical Capabilities
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift materials, components, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to safely operate manufacturing equipment while maintaining awareness of moving machinery.
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment and work safely in a manufacturing environment.
