Role:
Industrial Maintenance Technician (also known as Machine Repair, Maintenance Technician, Industrial Mechanic). Starting pay: $36.21/hour.

We have multiple openings for Industrial Maintenance Technician at our Dayton, OH facility—supporting a team that produces millions of beverage can ends per day. You'll keep equipment running safely, troubleshoot issues fast, and partner with Production to hit daily targets.
Must have significant experience in operating production machines
Diagnoses or troubleshoots machines or equipment to determine malfunction and need for adjustment or repair
Performs mechanical repairs and maintenance on various types of equipment
Currently holds a journeyman machine repair card or the equivalent of 3-5 years direct machine maintenance experience
Manufacturing and technology classes preferred (or equivalent experience)
3-5 years practical hands-on experience in an industrial setting
Proficient with micrometers, calipers and indicators
Lubricates and cleans parts, installs, moves, sets-up and operates all types of equipment and machine tools
Good mathematical skills
Deep understanding of high speed presses and safety protocols
Experience with high pressure hydraulics, pneumatics, and automated material handling
Good mechanical aptitude
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Able to read, interpret blueprints on manufacturing equipment. Interpret manuals and industrial standards.
Must be willing to work 12-hour shifts and a rotating schedule
Must pass pre-employment physical, drug test and background check.
While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms.
The team member frequently is required to climb or balance and talk or hear.
The team member is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
The team member must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and / or move up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
