What You’ll Be Doing:As a Final Assembly Operator you will:
1) Assemble electronic components, sub-assemblies, products or systems according to company work instructions and customer specifications;
2) Ensures compliance to quality standards on each project or job while maintaining production goals; and
3) Follows company policy and procedure ensuring a safe, respectful workplace.
- Perform daily final assembly jobs all within work order instructions and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Assembly and disassembly of circuit card assemblies and chaises.
- Use basic hand tools.
- Follow production drawings and work instructions for assigned company work order.
- Replenishes supplies and components within Standard Operating Procedures.
- Maintains production records, logs, and other report forms .
- Identify and inform Operations Team Lead of any product defects or production process issues.
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment free of FOD.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education:
High school diploma or GED required.
Skills/Qualifications/Experience:
- 1-3 years manufacturing/production assembly experience required.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations.
- Experience with schematics and blueprints.
- Current or previous certifications in IPC-610, IPC-620, and J-Std preferred. Certifications must be obtained after hire.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good written and verbal communications skills.
- Basic Computer Skills.
Employees are required to wear safety equipment consisting of: closed-toed shoes, safety glasses, heel straps, wrist straps, and electro-static discharge lab coats while on the production floor and are occasionally exposed to fumes, airborne particles, toxic/caustic chemicals, and minimal risk of electrical shock .
