Barsplice Products Inc. is seeking a CNC Group Lead to coordinate day-to-day CNC machining operations producing precision rebar splicing components. In this on-site role in Brookville, OH, you will lead a small team of CNC operators, schedule work to meet production targets, and ensure adherence to safety, quality, and housekeeping standards. Responsibilities include machine setup, troubleshooting, first-piece approvals, and in-process inspections using precision gauges.
You'll partner with engineering and maintenance to improve processes, reduce scrap, and support training and development within an engineering-driven, safety-focused culture.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate daily activities of CNC operators to meet production goals
- Set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC machines for rebar splicing components
- Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and housekeeping standards
- Perform first-piece and in-process inspections using precision measurement tools
- Prioritize work orders and manage schedules to meet delivery commitments
- Train, mentor, and provide feedback to CNC team members
- Collaborate with engineering and maintenance to resolve technical issues
- Monitor scrap, downtime, and quality metrics, driving corrective actions
- Support continuous improvement, 5
- S, and lean manufacturing initiatives
- Document production, quality checks, and machine performance accurately
