Strategic Communications Content Specialist

Job Description

Bryce Tech is looking for a Communications Content Specialist to join our team and help Air Force’s AFWERX program in executing communication strategies, content creation, and strategic planning. The selected candidate will work directly with the Air Force Program Management Office (PMO). The candidate must have strong communications skills and be able to travel as required.

Responsibilities include:

• Support and implement communication strategies to support organizational goals.
• Develop engaging and high-quality content and marketing products for various platforms, including social media, press releases, reports, etc. for in reach and outreach.
• Manage the organization’s content calendar to ensure timely and consistent communication.
• Provide technical writing support, editing and proof‑reading high‑quality written materials.
• Build and nurture relationships with internal stakeholders, external partners, and media contacts to ensure consistent and cohesive messaging across all channels.
• Monitor industry trends and audience insights to refine strategies and keep communications fresh, relevant, and effective.
• Assess and analyze communications efforts, providing data‑driven insights to inform future strategies.
• Align communication efforts with organizational goals, ensuring that messaging supports and enhances strategic initiatives.

• Active DoW Secret Clearance or above.
• Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, journalism or related field.
• 5+ years of experience working in the communications field, preferably within a military or government context.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft clear, concise, and compelling messages for diverse audiences to include long‑form and presentations.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to think critically and make decisions, pays attention to detail, and has a self‑starter mentality.
• Proficiency in digital communication tools to include Google Workspace.
• Flexibility to work in fast‑paced environments and adapt to changing priorities and have strong time management skills working under tight deadlines.
• Ability to work autonomously in a highly dispersed organization.
• Desired skills include basic photography.

This position is subject to contract award.
