Strategic Communications Project Manager

University of Dayton Research Institute (UDRI) is hiring a Strategic Communications Project Manager to support the Air Force Rapid Sustainment Office (RSO) by managing communication projects and outreach efforts that advance sustainment initiatives. The role involves coordinating content creation, managing communication channels such as the RSO website and social media, tracking project schedules and deliverables, and aligning products with the RSO Brand Guide while collaborating with various stakeholders.

• Manage RSO communication activities, including scheduling, content coordination, and channel management (website, SharePoint, social media, newsletter).
• Support marketing and outreach aligned with the RSO Communications Plan and Brand Guide.
• Track metrics to evaluate strategic outreach effectiveness.
• Coordinate with Air Force leadership, subject matter experts, and public affairs offices.
• Maintain RSO presence at events and exhibitions.
• Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project), and SharePoint required.
• Minimum bachelor s degree in communications, marketing, journalism, or management with at least 3 years of related experience.
• U.S. citizenship required due to federal contract restrictions.
• Ability to travel between UDRI sites, military base, and other mission locations as needed.
• Preferred qualifications include 5+ years of experience, social media management, familiarity with military communications, and experience with Air Force sustainment commands.
