Copywriter

University of Dayton is hiring a Copywriter to craft engaging and persuasive content that captures the spirit of the Flyer experience and supports enrollment goals. The role involves writing, editing, and collaborating on diverse marketing materials across multiple channels while ensuring alignment with the University's Catholic and Marianist mission.

• Create and edit print and digital content including emails, mailers, financial aid communications, and presentations
• Collaborate with designers, analysts, strategists, and project managers to produce effective marketing materials
• Ensure all communications reflect the University's Catholic and Marianist mission and promote inclusive excellence
• Required proficiency in copywriting, proofreading, and strong organizational and communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in English, marketing, communication, or related field
• Minimum of 1 year professional writing experience or a strong marketing copywriting portfolio
• Preferred 3+ years experience in multi-channel campaign writing and AP style proficiency
• Experience tailoring messages for specific audiences and stakeholder management skills
