Good Neighbor House is a faith‑based nonprofit organization dedicated to serving individuals and families experiencing poverty, food insecurity, and housing instability in the Dayton community. Our mission is to provide practical support, resources, and guidance while treating every person with dignity, respect, and hope.

The VISTA member will enhance Good Neighbor House’s ability to serve the community by creating systems for volunteer engagement, resource coordination, data collection, and community partnerships. They will search and navigate grant opportunities, collaborate with staff to plan facility expansion, and document procedures to ensure lasting organizational capacity. The member will empower our goal that our neighbors achieve stability and self‑sufficiency.
