About the Job:
Shriners Children's Ohio is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for its Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). In this role, you will provide high-acuity, critical care to pediatric patients requiring intensive monitoring and advanced interventions. You will work collaboratively with physicians, respiratory therapists, and multidisciplinary care teams to deliver safe, compassionate, and specialized pediatric critical care.

This position is ideal for experienced PICU nurses who thrive in fast-paced, high-responsibility environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide intensive nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients
• Monitor ventilators, cardiac rhythms, and advanced life support systems
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and critical interventions
• Assess patient conditions and respond rapidly to clinical changes
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive care planning
• Support and educate families during critical care situations
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Compensation:
Hourly Rate: $430/hr
Shift Duration: 12 hours

Experience Needed: PRN (As-needed basis, flexible shifts)
