The Team leader (TL) is responsible for providing overall staffing and patient flow for the control desk. These activities are performed in collaboration with the Anesthesia charge person. The TL works collaboratively with other members of the Surgical Services Management Team, Anesthesia Providers, Surgeons, Hospital Administration, and PHP
- System Administration in developing and implementing processes that achieve positive clinical outcomes. The TL provides direct patient care in accordance with the staff nurse role. Practice is consistent with applicable licensing board, regulatory standards, and institutional policies and procedures. This position will be responsible for 80% direct patient care and 20% control desk duties.

• Education:
  
  BSN required or must be enrolled in an accredited BSN program within 2 years from date in position; with completion of the BSN within 5 years from date in position.
• Licensure:
  Valid Ohio Registered Nurse License
• Membership: AORN preferred
• Certification:
  Current CPR certification. CNOR preferred.
• Experience:
  
  Minimum 3 years clinical experience as a circulating RN in the Operating Room. Minimum 2 years experience in Progress Leadership.
• Skills/Other:
  Excellent leadership and decision making skills. Demonstrates a full range of highly effective communication and problem-solving skills. Proven clinical competence. Proven ability to perform ongoing prioritization.
