Travel LPN​/LVN - Med Surg

ATC Healthcare is seeking a Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) to provide skilled nursing services across various healthcare facilities including hospitals, long‑term care, psychiatric hospitals, developmental centers, and veterans’ hospitals.

• Perform nursing acts, functions, or tasks under the delegation/supervision of a registered nurse, medical physician, or midlevel provider.
• Administer nursing procedures in accordance with patient nursing care plans (sterile dressing, soaks, compresses, enemas, suppositories, tube feeding, oxygen therapy, range‑of‑motion therapy, catheterization, diabetic care, pre‑ and post‑operative care, etc.).
• Set up prescribed medications and administer them orally, intramuscularly or subcutaneously.
• Monitors medication effects and records patient reactions.
• Assist with rehabilitation programming and activities (social‑skills development, daily‑living skills, reality orientation, recreational skills, etc.).
• Record treatments given and monitor patient health.
• Transport or accompany patients to procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA.
• Provide patient care in a non‑judgmental, culturally sensitive manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Completion of an accredited licensed practical nursing program.
• Current and unencumbered license in the state of practice.
• Valid IV certification (attached to candidate profile).
• OH RN or multi‑state compact license (attached to resume).
• Valid BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• At least one year of recent experience within the last three years.
• Background screening as required by state or client contract.
• Drug screening as required by the contract.
• Employment physical may be required for some states or clients.

• Work sites vary.
• Possible exposure to blood, bodily fluids, and other potentially infectious materials.
• Proficiency in reading medical equipment and documents; may involve pushing carts and handling medical equipment.
• Ability to assist with moving patients and delivering transportation as required.
